This handy smoker/grill is easy to set up, initially taking only about 30 minutes. The electric version is easier to clean and maintain than the charcoal version and is a safer way to grill. While the electric style works better as a grill, it will also work well as a smoker with a bit of modification. You’ll get a wonderful smoky flavor by adding some water-soaked wood chunks to the pan during cooking.

The Brinkmann gourmet electric smoker has two hinged front doors and is tall enough to cook a chicken standing on end. The design with its separate base pan makes for easy set-up. The 1500-watt electric heating element is housed in the base pan which also contains lava rocks. The chrome-plated steel grills are capable of cooking up to 50 lbs.
